报告内容:
This talk explores uplink strategies for 6G networks, emphasizing AI efficiency through next-generation multiple access (NGMA) techniques. Topics include multi-access edge computing (MEC), network slicing, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), and rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA). A novel Distributed Uplink RSMA (DU-RSMA) method is introduced, enhancing network capacity and remote radio head collaboration. Over-the-air computing (AirComp) is highlighted as a non-orthogonal alternative for simultaneous data aggregation and computation.
The role of machine learning (ML) in multiple access is also explored, covering federated learning, split learning, and ML-based protocols. The talk concludes by stressing the need to optimize communication and computation for scalable, AI-driven 6G systems.
报告人简介:
Dr. Panagiotis D. Diamantoulakis (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Diploma and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with AUTH’s Wireless Communications and Information Processing (WCIP) Group (2017-2024) and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University, China, from 2021. In May 2024, he became an Assistant Professor at AUTH. His research focuses on optimization in wireless networks, optical wireless communications, and goal-oriented communications. He serves as an Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society and previously for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters (2018-2023), earning Exemplary Editor recognition in 2020. He has also been recognized as an Exemplary Reviewer by IEEE Communications Letters (2014) and IEEE Transactions on Communications (2017, 2019).
