讲座摘要:In this talk, we will report some recent progress of the study on chaotic behavior of hyperbolic dynamical systems, which mainly contains two parts: (1)Existence of periodic orbits and Smale horseshoes; (2) Ergodic optimization theory. This is based on the joint works with Wen Huang, Peidong Liu, Kening Lu, Xiao Ma, Leiye Xu, Lai-sang Young, and Yiwei Zhang.
个人简介：连增，四川大学教授，博士生导师。2003年获得南开大学数学与应用数学学士学位，2008年获美国杨百翰大学数学专业博士学位，从事动力系统和遍历理论方面的研究。近年来在无穷维和随机动力系统的光滑遍历理论方面取得了一些研究进展，具体包括在乘积遍历定理、马蹄和熵、SRB测度以及遍历极值问题等方面的研究。相关工作发表在MAMS、JAMS、Adv. Math.、JDE等期刊。2017年获国家基金委杰出青年基金资助。
