报告题目：Some Recent Advances in Projection-type Algorithms for Nonmonotone Variational Inequalities

摘要：Variational inequality problem (VIP for short) found applications in nonlinear analysis, optimization theory, partial differential equations, nonlinear programming, etc. To solve VIP, some classic algorithms are presented under different monotone condition. Usually, the global convergence of these algorithms need at least pseudomonotonicity of the underlying mapping. In this talk, we introduce the advance of the projection-type algorithm for VIP without needing any monotonicity condition. The global convergence of such algorithms requires that the underlying mapping is continuous and the set of its dual variational inequality is none empty. We also introduce the problems there existed in studying the algorithm for solving nonmonotone VIP.
报告人简介：叶明露，男，西华师范大学教授，硕士生导师，美国《Mathematical Review》评论员。2014年获四川师范大学理学博士学位，师从何诣然教授。2017年6月-2018年6月于香港理工大学跟随Ting Kei Pong做博士后研究。2019年6月- 2019年8月在香港理工大学做副研究员。研究方向：非线性最优化理论与运用。
在变分不等式的数值算法与非凸非光滑优化算法方面的成果发表在Siam J. Optim., Comput. Optim. Appl.,Numer Algor., Optim.,等期刊上。主持四川省教育厅项目一项。参与国家自然科学基金面上项目四项。
