主讲人简介：
Rong Qu is a full Professor at the School of Computer Science in the University of Nottingham. Her main research interests include the modelling and optimisation for automated algorithm design, supported by evolutionary algorithms and machine learning across operational research and artificial intelligence, and their hybridisations. Professor Qu is an Associate Editor at EAAI, IEEE TEVC, JORS, PeerJ and IEEE CIM and Chair / Vice-Chair of several Technical Committees and Task Forces at IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. She is an IEEE Senior Member and a Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellow in 2022 at The Royal Society.
内容简介：
Combinatorial optimisation problems such as vehicle routing appear in many real world scenarios in intelligent operations systems. This seminar presents research developments of evolutionary and metaheuristic algorithms for some example applications including transport scheduling, personnel scheduling and network routing, etc. With a focus on intelligent transport applications, advances in automated algorithm design, supported by and integrated with machine learning, will also be discussed.
